Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials against Purchase Orders (POs), Delivery Challans (DCs).
  • Store and preserve solar project materials according to manufacturer recommendations.
  • Issue materials to site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors based on approval.
  • Maintain inventory records using any software systems or Excel sheet.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Procurement for replenishment.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification and physical inventory.
  • Maintain traceability of critical and major materials such as:  
             1) Solar PV Modules
             2) Inverters
             3) Switchgears (MCB, MCCB, SPD)
             4) Cables (DC, AC and Earthing)
             5) AC/DC Junction Boxes
             6) Module Mounting Structures
             7) Earthing materials
             8) Lightning protection materials


  • Maintain records of serial numbers for PV modules, inverters, and other major equipment.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage, moisture ingress, corrosion, or theft.
  • Segregate and report damaged, rejected, or surplus materials.
  • Prepare daily stock reports, Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Goods Issue Notes (GIN), and inventory reconciliation reports after completion of Project SOA wise.  


Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Solar PV modules, inverters, module mounting structures, and BOS (Balance of System) materials.
  • HT/LT electrical equipment.
  • Cable management systems.
  • Inventory control techniques (FIFO/FEFO).
  • EPC project documentation.
